UBS To Pay Broker $2 Million For Firing, Bonus and Deferred Compensation
A NASD arbitration panel has awarded a former UBS trader over $2 million. The trader claimed that the firm fired him just as he was about to receive his bonus and to prevent vesting of deferred compensation.
Indeed, part of the award includes the release of stock held, but not vested, in the trader's deferred compensation plan.
