Hedge Fund Trade Group Says Hedge Funds Inappropriate for Retail Investors
The Managed Funds Association, through its general counsel, has stated that, "The MFA doesn't believe hedge funds are an appropriate investment for retail investors. In fact, we think it is a bad idea to sell hedge funds to retail investors".
The association made these remarks as part of its proposal to raise the minimum net worth of hedge fund investors from $1 million to $5 million.
