Prudential Securities Receives the Most Customer Complaints
A study by Weiss Ratings finds that Prudential Securities leads the pack in terms of customer complaints. The study examined arbitration awards, regulatory and legal actions recorded by the National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD) between 1997 and 2001.
Other firms that fared poorly are Ameritrade, U.S. Bancorp Piper Jaffray and E* Trade Group.
